Sometimes life is difficult, not just for adults but children and young people too, and things do not go to plan. Sometimes these challenging situations can result in anger, frustration, or a negative outlook on life. This can happen to us all. There may have been a bereavement in the family, exam stress, bullying, all these things and many more can sometimes tip the balance for us.
Counselling is a safe place where you can come and talk in a confidential space and not have the worry that you may be judged.
My job is to listen to your worries, problems, anxieties, and stresses, to help you understand better what is happening. I then support you in finding new coping mechanisms that allow you to deal with life in a much more positive way. I do not judge you or your situation. You will find that you are amongst millions of people that feel, or have felt, the same way as you and I use various techniques to help you understand what is going on and find solutions to your issues.
Areas that I can offer support include:
- Anger management
- Bereavement and loss
- Childhood issues
- Family breakdown
- Panic Attacks
- Sexuality issues
- Young people’s issues
This list is some of the issues that I am regularly supporting clients with. I have worked with many other issues in addition to this list and I am open to working with any issue or reason you may have for seeking counselling.
